It is lightweight, I like being able to adjust the exhaust, and the feel is good. Sometimes it sounds right and I get a nice dent but no nail, sometimes it is more like a dud, and sometimes I can't even get it to fire.
Maybe I just got a lemon. Sometimes messing with the depth of gauge seems to help, but I can't find a definite pattern or reliable fix.
When it does fire, I am pleased with the result (nice counter sink), but I am annoyed at the percentage of blanks I get (25' air hose, 110-125 psi). I like my other Milwaukee tools, but this one is disappointing.
I am relatively new to owning (but not using) pneumatic nailers and I bought this at a great price during one of Amazon's sales. The problem I seem to have it getting it to fire consistently -- so far, with the included 2" nails and some Porter Cable 1.25" nails, I have the problem a few others have reported of it misfiring -- no nail is sent.
I will pay attention to the suggestion from another reviewer that suggested the nails aren't being pushed forward automatically the next time I use it--but I am also ready to act on the warrenty.

Over all it is a good nailer for the price. I purchassed Milwaukee 7145 16ga. When driving 2-1/2 inch nails it dosen't feed smooth' I have to push the next nail to drive up with my finger. I have set to max depth and sometimes it dosen't drive the nail deep enough, ( yes the air psi.
I read reviews complaining about not counter sinking. For the money you can't go wrong. Great price , light weight and easy to use. I had no problems with the countersinks using 3/4 oak.
I personally like the brand and would purchase more. Still end up going back over with a punch and hammer to get it deep enough for my linking. When Shooting 1 1/2 nails through 3/4 maple framing into plywood, I found I have to apply firm pressure against the piece when I fire the gun to get it to countersink at all. Weekend do-it-youselfer not a pro. Can't beat the price (my primary reason for purchase) so I'm generally happy with the gun. Not the best countersinking though. But I may be overdoing it.
Keep in mind that if you need to use this in tight spaces (you will if you do Crown or Base Molding) the angled model would be better suited. It did not have the coupler fitting though so I had to go pick one up (so I got three just in case the next tool I buy has it missing too) as I needed to use the nailer upon arrival. I hope that it is as reliable as I expect it will be. The Milwaukee 7145-21 is a Straight Finish Nailer that is light-weight but a heavy hitter as far as performance. Easy to load and adjust for depth.Decent case and safety gogles were included. Not too heavy, good price and I would indeed replace it if it were stolen.
